The Delta x calculator computes the difference between two lengths or distances (x2) and (x1).
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:
- (x1) Length 1
- (x2) Length 2
Delta x (Δx): The calculator returns the difference in meters. However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
The Math / Science
The formula for the change in distance is:
Δx= x2 - x1
where:
- Δx is the difference in time between the two reference lengths.
- x1 is length reference point one.
- x2 is length reference point two.
