A shed is a small, simple structure typically located in a backyard or garden, used for storage, hobbies, or workspace. Sheds are often made of wood, metal, or plastic and usually has a single room. Sheds can be erected directly on soil, on a gravel bed, on a concrete slab or on blocks with a joist floor.  Sheds can have a wide variety of weather proofing materials for siding and roofs that include T-111 treated 4x8s, vinyl or metal siding, shingles or metal roofs.
