The Final Velocity calculator compute the final velocity of an object based on the initial velocity, a constant acceleration and the duration of the acceleration.

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

Final Velocity (vf):  The calculator returns the velocity at t2 in meters per second.  However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

The math / science

Final velocity  is described as the velocity of an object after a period of time based on an initial velocity and a constant acceleration.

The formula for the final velocity of an object is:

               vf = vi+a•t
