One method for analyzing samples quantitatively for the presence of oxidizable or reducible substances is by redox titration. In these titrations the concentration of a solution is determined by allowing it to react with a carefully measured amount of standard solution of an oxidizing or reducing agent. EXAMPLE 3 What volume of 0.05386 M KMnO4 would be needed to reach the endpoint when titrating 25.00 ml of 0.1272 M H2O2, given S(KMnO4/H2O2) = 2/5
