The Lumber Volume Convert function allows the User to enter an input quantity, specifically a quantity used for lumber, as a real number and the Units are selected from a "units to convert" list. The output units are also specified by selection of "resultant units".
This Equation allows converting units of lumber volume, specifically:
NIST publishes a Handbook that lists conversion factors for many Units. This equation uses the Volume data found in Appendix: B.9 Factors for units listed by kind of quantity or field of science.
