The Torricell'is Law calculator computes the amount of time for water to drain between heights in a container based on the cross-sectional areas of the top and hole and the initial and final height.

The time to lower fluid level in a container using Torricelli's Law is a theorem in fluid dynamics relating the speed of fluid flowing out of an opening to the height of fluid above the opening based on gravity flow alone.. Torricelli's formula can be used to calibrate a water clock. The Toricelli's Law formula is as follows:
`Deltat=(2A)/(asqrt(2g))(sqrt(h_1)-sqrt(h_2))`
where:
- Δt = Time to drain between the points
- A = Cross-sectional area of top portion
- a = Cross-sectional area of hole
- `h_1` = Initial height
- `h_2` = Final height
