The Weight of Content in a Box calculator computes weight of substance in a box defined by the box's dimensions and the mean density.
INSTRUCTIONS:
(L ) Length of the box.
(W ) Width of the box.
(H ) Height of the box.
(S ) Choose a substance from the pull-down menu (see list below)
Weight: The calculator returns the mass (weight) in kilograms. However, this can be automatically converted into other weight or mass units via the pull-down menu.

The formula for the mass or weight of contents of a box is:
M = L * W * H * mD
where:
M = mass or weight of the box
L = Length of the box
W = Width of the box
H = Height of the box
mD = Mean Density of Substance
