The Weight GRC Conduit calculator estimates the total weight of Galvanized Rigid Conduit (GRC) based on the size (S) of the conduit and the length (L).

GRC Conduit Weight(w): The calculator returns the estimated weight in pounds. However this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
GRC stands for Galvanized Rigid Conduit which is a rigid metallic conduit. Rigid conduits have the thickest walls or steel raceways. GRC can be either threaded (straight tapped) or have integral coupling. The coating is zinc on both the inside and out.
The relationship between length of conduit, size of GRC and the weight comes from industry standard numbers. The table above is the basis of this calculator and it shows the mass / weight value of the GRC per hundred feet length.
