The Volume to English Units utility converts a volume of any units to its equivalent in gallons, quarts, pints, cups(whole, half and quarter), tablespoons and teaspoons.                                     English Volume Units

Description

The English liquid volume units of gallons, quarts, pints, cups, tablespoon and teaspoon are still used in different applications and locations.  This utility allows the user to enter a volume in any of the vCalc system volume units, and converts it to the equivalent of gallons, quarts, pints, cups, tablespoon and teaspoon.  For example, 13.8 cubic inches is equal to gallons(0), quarts(0), pints(0), cups(0.96), and 67.4 liters is equal to gallons(17), quarts(3), pints(0), cups(0.88).

Instructions

1. Enter a volume (e.g 13.7)
2. Select the volume units via the pull-down menu (e.g. m³ which is the default)

vCalc will then compute the number of gallons, quarts, pints and cups that sum up to the equivalent volume entered.  The answer for the example is gallons(3619), quarts(0), pints(1), cups(0.51)
