The Average Velocity calculator computes the average velocity based on two velocities assuming there has been constant acceleration.

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following.

  • (vi)  This is the initial velocity.
  • (vf)  This is the final velocity.

Average Velocity (vavg):  The calculator returns the velocity in meters per second. However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
