The Area of the Sector of a Circle formula, A = ½•r²•Θ, computes the area of a sector of a circle (e.g. pie slice) based /attachments/e6cbbd6a-da27-11e2-8e97-bc764e04d25f/Circleareaofsector-illustration.png  Sector of a Circle on the radius and angle defining the sector.

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose your preferred angle and length units and enter the following:

  • (r) This is the radius of the circle.
  • (Θ) This is the angle defining the sector (see diagram)

Area of a Circle Sector (A): The calculator returns the area of the sector (A) in square meters.   However, this can be automatically converted into many other area units via the pull-down menu.
