Ideal gas law (solved for temperature)

TIdeal=PVnR
(P)Pressure of gas
(V)volume of gas
(n)moles of gas
Tags

The ideal gas law (Temperature) calculator computes temperature based on the Ideal Gas Law and the number of moles (n),  the pressure (P), the volume (V) and the Ideal Gas Constant (R).

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose your preferred units and enter the following:

  • (n) This is the number of moles.
  • (P) This is the pressure
  • (V) This is the volume

Temperature: The temperature (T) is returned in degrees Kelvin.  However, this can be automatically converted to other temperature units via the pull-down menu.
