The Planting Bulbs Calculator computes the number of bulbs needed for a specified area base on the density (spacing) and the size of the land.  The size of the land / field / yard can be computes based on its shape and the measurements of its sides.  If all else fails, one can make an estimate of the area (A) and use that to compute the number of bulbs.

• Number of Bulbs for Rectangle Area: Computes number of bulbs for rectangular area (e.g., 14 ft x 22ft). 
• Number of Bulbs for Circular Area: Computes number of bulbs for circular area based diameter.
• Number of Bulbs for Oval Area: Computes number of bulbs for oval shaped area based length and width of oval.
