Soil and Earthwork

Soil is generally the unconsolidated upper layer of earth that is black ,brown, dark brown or red in color typically consisting of a mixture of organic remains, clay, and rock particles that provide nutrients for plants to grow. Whereas Earthworks are engineering works created through the moving or processing of parts of the earth's surface involving quantities of soil or unformed rock.
