The Cartesian to Cylindrical calculator converts Cartesian coordinates into Cylindrical coordinates.
INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the following:
Cylindrical Coordinates (r,Θ,z): The calculator returns magnitude of the XY plane projection (r) as a real number, the angle from the x-axis in degrees (Θ), and the vertical displacement from the XY plane (z) as a real number. Note: the angle Θ is in degrees. However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
