A report from Valdosta University provided the calories per hour are associated with different activities including sports, recreational activities and common tasks. This collection of calculators uses that report data to provide the calories burned over a period of time performing the activity. In some cases, it computes the calories burned associated with a distance traveled (e.g. running or biking).
