Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the measurement, properties, and relationships of points, lines, angles, surfaces, solids, shapes, sizes, relative position of figures, and the properties of space. A mathematician who works in the field of geometry is called a geometer. vCalc Geometry concerns equations relating shape, size and relative position of physical objects.
Note: The majority of the equations are in the two main subcategories, 3D - Euclidean and 2D - Plane/ Plane geometry covers objects in two dimensions such as lines, curves, circles, ellipses, polygons (triangles, rectangles, pentagons, hexagon, heptagons, octagons, etc). Euclidean geometry covers objects in three dimensions such as spheres, ellipsoids, boxes, pyramids, cones, columns and the frustums of these objects.
