Data Storage Need

The Data Storage Need calculator computes the approximate amount of data storage needed based on a period of time and a data rate.

Data Storage (DS): The calculator returns the size of data storage needed in megabytes.  However this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

where:

• D = Duration of Data Accumulation
• R = Rate of Data being stored
